Employment Ineligibility List
We operate in a highly regulated industry. In order for an individual to be considered for employment they must not be disqualified according to the laws of the State of South Carolina. If you meet any of the conditions below, you will not be considered for employment. We are only taking applications from those individuals who meet the eligibility requirements. If you meet the qualifications for employment and would like to be considered for employment, please complete the Employment Inquiry Form below. If you are considered for employment, our agency will contact you and provide you with a more thorough employment application and other required documents needed for the hiring process.
- Not a U.S. citizen.
- Under 18 years of age (or under 21 years of age if company license or armed registration is sought)
- Any discharge from military service that is other than honorable
- Currently holding any other position that would constitute dual-office holding and/or a conflict of interest, such as:
- Actively commissioned law enforcement officers
- Coroners
- Jailers or detention officers
- Probation or Parole Officers
- Reserve officers
- State Constables
- Federal officers, investigators, or inspectors (including military police/investigators)
- Conviction of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude. Applicants for armed security officer registrations cannot be prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition.
- Has a criminal charge pending that, if convicted, would prohibit individual from being licensed or registered.
- Applicant fails to meet any other criteria outlined in the S.C. Private Investigative or Contract Security Agencies Act or falsifies the application for license and/or registration.
